Looking for something fun to do this weekend? Here are just a few of the things going on in the 812:
1. Beatle-mania is alive and well at this Southern Indiana music festival
"Hey Jude" (or whatever your name is), if you've had "a hard days night" or you feel like you've been living in a "yellow submarine" for far too long, then "all you need is love" AND live Beatles tribute music at the Penny Lane at The Park festival in downtown Jeffersonville. Ten-plus bands will take the stages (there's two of them) and will offer their versions of classic Beatle's songs. Attendance will be limited to 2,500 fans each day (Saturday and Sunday), so get your tickets today or it will be more than just your guitar that's gently weeping. Food trucks will be onsite. 2. Come sample the juices made from old smashed grapes and other select fruits
It's BAAACK!!! The areas finest wineries bring their best fermented juices and allow you to sample and partake at "Southern Indiana Uncorked 2021". Bring a chair and/or a canopy and come sample while listening to music on the lawn at the Harrison County Fairgrounds in Corydon.

3. Swim in a pool filled with other people who live in your community
The Sellersburg community pool is opening for the season and they've invited you, yes you, to come out and swim for FREE. Bring a towel and a friend and cool off as we get our first taste of summer at this treasured local swim spot. Discounted season passes will be offered at this event.
5/28, 6-9pm, Free admission
4. Food, Music, and Local Goods at this city market with four equal-length sides
Hear live music and shop local vendors this Saturday in Charlestown at "On The Square: Pop Up Market". The crowds and vibe have been good for this event in recent weeks. Bring a chair, bring your wallet, and maybe even sing along with the songs you know.

5. Live Southern Gospel Music Event
As live music makes its way back onto the scene, "Highway 62 Jubilee" is bring you a concert series featuring the best local and regional southern gospel groups. There is limited in-person seating that is FREE, but must be reserved, or you can watch this concert online via a livestream. The concert is being hosted by Maxwell's House of Music in Jeffersonville.
May 29, 2 & 7pm (Two Shows), Free admission, but reservations required.

- Clarksville Elementary School Kids Sing "We Are The World"
This is not an event, but it is AMAZING. Kudos to the kids and the staff who helped put this together. It is worth a watch.
