Fun Things To Do In Southern Indiana This Weekend 6/23/21



Looking for something fun to do this weekend? Here are just a few of the things going on in the 812:


1. Floyd County FamFest


All you need to know is this event has Bed Races. Period. But if that's not enough, come check out all of the other fun offered at this event hosted by the Caesars Foundation of Floyd County and the Kentucky Derby Festival at the New Albany Ampitheater. There will be inflatables, crafts, face painting, food trucks, and much more. Note: This event is on Thursday.

2. Charlestown Founders Week Festival


This weekend marks the return of the Charlestown Founder's Week Festival. Saturday will feature the 5K Pirate Dash at the Charlestown State Park and Sunday the kids steal the spotlight for the Little Prince and Princess Pageant at the A&E Center. These two events will kick off the event that will keep you partying and celebrating all week long. A link to all the activities is below.

3. Weirdest School Year Ever Bash


It truly was one of the weirdest school years ever. If you are a teacher or a parent who is exhausted and weary, then there's only one solution to your woes; video games and cocktails. RECBAR 812 is hosting the "Weirdest School Year Ever Bash" at the location in New Albany. Play some old school video games, pinball, ping pong and more while partaking in a beverage. Register in advance (link below) to receive a free drink ticket and some tokens.



6/25, 8pm-midnight, Free admission



4. Open House With Stunt Rider Jason Britton


World class stunt rider, Jason Britton, will be highlighting an Open House at CC Powersports in Clarksville. The event will show off the new 2021 Indian Motorcycle line. There will be food trucks on site, Kona Ice from noon to two, giveaways, and live performances from Jason Britton at 11:00, 1:00, & 3:00 per the host.


6/26, 10a - 4p, Free admission



5. 90's Prom

Did you miss the prom this year? OR, did you miss your prom in the Nineties? Then this is the party for you. Our friends at Our Lady of Perpetual Hops will be hosting a 90's style jam session/party with bands from Louisville School of Rock playing the best songs of the 90's featuring pop, rock, hip hop, and more. All ages welcome. Food trucks will be on site.
