Looking for something fun to do in Southern Indiana this weekend?

Here are just a few of the things going on in the 812:

1. Parlour Palooza

This is the first, of what we hope will be many, Parlour Palooza music festivals. This event will be held at Parlour in downtown Jeffersonville. Six different bands will take the stage throughout the day bringing you a variety of musical sounds. Parlour will be serving up their famous pizza, grub, and drinks. The event proceeds benefit USA Cares which is a local organization that serves our area's military veterans.

2. Floyd County 4-H Fair

The Floyd County 4-H Fair is back in all its glory. Rides, fried foods, animals, vendor booths, a lama costume show, and much more at this year's fair. A full link the the daily schedule is below.

3. Jeff Riverstage Concert

Live music on the riverfront in the summer has become one of our favorite Jeffersonville pastimes. This week, Jammin' In Jeff is back with A1A, a Jimmy Buffett tribute band. If you're a ParrotHead or just looking to jam to some good music, come down the the Jeffersonville Riverstage. Local food and drink vendors will be on hand.

4. Charlestown Pop Up Market

Summertime means Pop Up Markets on the square in Charlestown. This event has continued to grow over the years with a more and more vendors selling crafts, wares, and services. Occasionally they do have food vendors on site, live music, and special art projects as well. Check them out.

5. New Albany Cookie Stroll

Stroll around, get cookies. The New Albany Cookie Stroll is back. Purchase your tickets and get a scavenger hunt map that will take you to a variety of local businesses. Return back to the starting line and get your bag of cookies, baked fresh by local New Albany businesses. Order your tickets ASAP as this event usually sells out.
