1. Schmitt Family Furniture Bash

It's time once again to celebrate New Albany's Schmitt Family Furniture with their 86th Birthday Bash. This event will feature food and drinks and live music from local favorites The Juice Box Heroes.

2. The Hobbit At Clarksville Little Theatre

Clarksville Little Theatre in Clarksville presents J.R.R Tolkien's The Hobbit. This show will be performed by area kids aged 8-14. According to Wikipedia, "The Hobbit is set within Tolkien's fictional universe and follows the quest of home-loving Bilbo Baggins ... to win a share of the treasure guarded by a dragon named Smaug. Bilbo's journey takes him from his light-hearted, rural surroundings into more sinister territory. Tickets and show times can be find at the link below.

3. Respite Rabbits Art Show

Local Artist, Donna Shaw, is hosting an art show and reception to unveil her Respite Rabbits Village exhibit. The exhibit will be on display at the Jeffersonville Township Public Library in downtown Jeffersonville from July 16th to August 31st. This reception will launch the opening of the exhibit. Come check out the Respite Rabbit Village along with pieces from other artists and live music.

4. Coca Cola Cruise-In Car Show

The Jeffersonville Parks Department is hosting a car show and touch a truck event prior to their weekly movie night on the river. The car show will begin at 6pm and the movie will begin at 830. If you plan to stay for the movie, bring a chair or blanket with you. Food trucks are typically on site for the movie or visit one of the local eateries in downtown Jeffersonville.

5. Lunatic Luau at Malice Manor

If you miss the haunted houses that Halloween time brings, this might be the event for you. The folks at Malice Manor in Clarksville are hosting a "Summer Slaycation" event they have dubbed "Lunatic Luau". We couldn't find much more details than that, but if you know the people at Malice Manor, then you know it will be a scary good time. Tickets available at the link below.

A. Boujie Brunch

We're not going to lie, we included this event because we like the word 'Boujie'. Having said that, the Belle Of Louisville is hosting a Boujie Brunch featuring a southern style breakfast, along with bloody mary's and mimosas. Tickets at the link below.
