Looking for something fun to do in Southern Indiana this weekend?


Here are just a few of the things going on in the 812:


 

1. Jeff Goes Country


Grab your boots, your hat, and your truck (no dogs allowed) and head to downtown Jeffersonville this Friday night for 'Jeff Goes Country'. Clayton Anderson and Scotty McCreery will be bringing a night of country music to the river stage. Bring a blanket and chair and enjoy food from the local eateries.

2. Clark County Fair


The Clark County Fair is taking place this week at the 4-H Fairgrounds in Charlestown. Carnival rides, animals, art, junk food, vendor booths, and much, much more. There is something happening every night this week, Wednesday - Saturday and you can see the full event schedule at the link below.

3. Hardcore Country Unplugged

Best Vineyards and Winery in Elizabeth his hosting Hardcore Country Unplugged. Check out this acoustic set of old country music played by two good ol' country boys with guitars. While you are there, check out the winery. Food and drink have been available for purchase at past events.

4. The Alcove Presents: Dive-In Movie Night


The Alcove in Jeffersonville presents Dive-In Movie Night. Grab some food from the food truck and drinks from the bar then head out back to the beer garden to watch the movie Grease on their big projector screen.


7/24, 10pm, Free Admission




5. Falls of the Ohio Fishing Derby


The Falls of the Ohio F0undation is hosting 'Falls of the Ohio Fishing Derby'. The fishing portion of the event will take place from 6am - 10am Saturday morning and then awards and other fun activities will take place from 10am -2pm. Fishing licenses are required for all who plan to fish and registration is required prior to the event at the link below.

A. Music At The Mount


Mount Saint Francis in Floyds Knobs is hosting a bluegrass style music festival featuring Appalatin, The Song Sparrows, and John Gage. More details at the link below.
