1. Music At The Mount - Mount Saint Francis

How do possibly make the beauty and nature of Mount Saint Francis any better? You add amazing live music performances to it. Come take in the sites of MSF while listening to sounds of Kiana & the Sun Kings who will be featuring songs from their debut album. Jordan Blase will be the opening act for the kickoff to the 2021 Music on the Mount concert series. Bring a chair or blanket and money for food and drinks and enjoy this one of a kind live music event.

2. Full Moon Float on Blue River

Take advantage of this unique opportunity to float down Blue River under the stars. Cave Country Canoes in Milltown, IN is offering the chance to take a kayak down river and enjoy a sunset and the sites and sounds of the water at night. Advance reservations and tickets are required and they offer several suggestions for the trip on their reservation page (see link below).

3. Rose Island History Hike

Ever wonder about the history of Rose Island? Deep within the trails of what is now Charlestown State Park, are the remnants of an old theme park that existed over 100 years ago. Take a guided tour of the park and it's remains and here tales of how it began, what it was like, and how the park met it's demise. Per the event organizer, "Meet at the trail 3 and 4 parking lot ... transportation provided for those unable to hike the steep hill to and from Rose Island."

4. Night of Destruction - Live Racing

The name says it all: Come watch vehicles of different shapes and sizes smash into each other. There will be some racing too! Demolition derby and trailer races are the main events in this racing schedule that is certain to feature plenty of destruction and entertainment.

5. Touch A Truck Event

Charlestown's Pop Up Market will be having a Touch A Truck event. Fire trucks Excavating equipment, military vehicles and more will be on site For an up close hands-on experience. There is an sensory friendly time from 10-1130. While you're there, visit the crafts and other offerings of local vendors.
